Downtown Bridgeport, Phase I: Urban Green Builders has agreed to set aside 6 units of permanent supportive housing within a mixed-income, downtown project currently under development.  These 6 units would be created with essentially no upfront capital subsidy requirement, but will necessitate securing ongoing rental and service operating subsidies as is the case with all permanent supportive housing developments.  The project would be owned and managed by Urban Green Builders, with supportive services provided by Operation Hope.  Occupancy is anticipated by August, 2007.

Downtown Bridgeport, Phase III: Urban Green Builders is structuring the development of an additional 230 units of housing at its project site in downtown Bridgeport.  This project is seeking 9% and 4% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits in conjunction with bond financing.  Fairfield 08 is working with Urban Green Builders to set aside 25 units of permanent affordable and supportive housing within this phase of the development.  The project would be owned and managed by Urban Green Builders, with supportive services provided by Alpha Community Services.  Occupancy is anticipated in 2008/9.
